Studio Umai

ウマイ / うまい

【旨い・美味い・甘い・上手い】

In Japanese, umai means many things at once — delicious, sweet, skillful, satisfying. Studio Umai is where all of those meet: the studio of Nihonga artist Sachi Oizumi in Brisbane.

A small studio & gallery space is taking shape in  Brisbane — a place for original paintings, Nihonga workshops and open studio days. Follow the journey on YouTube, or join the mailing list below to be first through the door. Opening spring 2026.
